Hey Scott, I appreciate it! I vary depending on bizz baits and type of structure. For instance I choose a heavy for thick trees and a medium heavy for light cover, I might even go up to a mag heavy with a double buzz if I’m fishing grass for big fish. Big key is no longer than a 7’3 7’4 rod, the shorter the rod, the more accurate you can be. Accuracy is key with a buzz

I was up at Roosy on Thursday and Friday. I buzz baited all over the lake. It was hit-and-miss, mostly missed. Water temps are still very warm, but after this cool-off coming this week, the buzz bait will get better and better. I had more misses than catches, mostly from small fish. White buzzers worked better than my dragonfly special-colored buzzers. That will change as the water cools.
