I actually said that in my last DLC predictions video. I thought if we got Steve then we’d get a Mii gunner skin for Chief and if we got Chief we’d get a sword fighter skin for Steve

OR it's entirely possible we get Master Chief as a character, I mean Chief is one of the bigger gaming mascots, hell I'd argue were it not for Chief we wouldn't have online gaming today as Halo 2 basically kick started the whole thing. Geno is a costume because he's only been in one game and despite being a fan favorite, there are other more important characters that should get in, to name a few: Master Chief, Rayman, Spyro, Crash, DOOM Guy, Vaati, and hell maybe even a new pokemon.

Honestly I fully expect Master Chief to be in Smash by the end of fighters pass 2, however there's always the possibility that he doesn't get in, and that the Smash team decides to do more DLC fighters, but instead of passes, they do 1 character at a time and release them at random intervals.
