Honestly, imagine the horror of the humans on the ground. The Spartan project was declassified at the start of the Human-Covenant war and there's a lot of propaganda about them. "Folks need heroes, chief. To give em hope". So there you are, on the most terrifying day of your life, when a literal alien in red armor has killed most of your squad and is torturing your friends for information. And the distinct shape of a Spartan super-soldier comes into view. The Covenant go crazy and start barking orders. And your heart feels a flicker of hope! You might live to see another day. You might see your wife and son again. Then in a moment he disappears again and flies down a tunnel. And you feel such a total loss of hope, more so than you ever thought possible. After a bemused pause and a lot of guttural grunts, the Covenant just resume the killing.

Guided by it, he headed towards the bridge’s support beams and climbed it, ignoring the forces down below. He then perched onto the beam, waiting for a covenant vehicle to fly by, it does and so he leapt towards it. The immense force of his jump, combined by the shielding of the covenant craft launched chief through the occupied streets of new Mombasa. He however was capable of controlling the launch, using his strength to bend space in order to lead him towards the point in which he holds the most intent for.

Even after he got it scratch all the time as that damage didn't matter. He always took risky gamble's and scratchs fall under acceptable losses.

There's no armor allowed by the laws of physics that would let MC survive a fall from outer space into Earth without it turning into mush. Let alone surviving to tank even more, similar hits. Few things would even dent it, and I don't think this would be one of them. Just imo though

@@MasterChiefSamus a lot like bringing up that fall from space feat, but that isn't just the standard armor. The armor has a special mode for that fall. It takes time to initialize and locks the body in a specific position, then inflates gell to cushion the moment on hitting the ground. This would in fact help a little bit. Considering there are several cases of a human being without any gear or debris surviving crashes from the red zone(far enough to reach terminal) in real life then a modified superhuman with protective gear living through this is actually not that far fetched. Now the only thing the space portion adds to this over any other red zone fall is the freezing temperatures and lack of air, as well as heat of reentry. Now it has been stated that the soles of the armor feet have a switch to turn on and off the sheild, because the shield has no friction to it, this alone deals with the reentry heat as no friction no heat. The suit does have a oxygen supply and is airtight(a book actually specifically said that if the suits seal fails than they would die from the fall) so lack of air also dealt with. The last the low temps, well the suits keep them insulated in space, so clealy enough for upper atmosphere. Now the mostake most make is that this is just a static how much of a blow can the suit take, which is not the case, this mode is a specialized one that needs prep time and the gell used for cushioning is one time use as it must be drained after use. Its also worth noting this is still a last resort and often fails, and if its not a superhuman spartan its almost certain death.
