Pretty sure Predators get hurt by modern day weapons. Master Chief is thousands of times more advanced than modern day soldiers with weapons capable of hurting a Predator.

The UNSC weapons have stupidly fast bullet speed, the calculations for the speed (The video done by installation 00) don't really make sense because they are so fast. Basically the bullets can shatter certain metals.

But it takes a a bunch of hits to kill them. Their amour is also bulletproof,and their weapons can damage everything(their plasma cannon can destroy a shop and their ship plasma cannon can one shot a human battle ship.

Chief literally kills hundreds of elites and brutes in every halo game and thats while fighting hoards of grunts and jackals aswell. The covenant seem to outclass the predators technologically and while I do think the predators are a very strong and resilient race Arnold himself has proven since the creatures inception that they can be killed by a normal human we are among the most dangerous game afterall let alone a cybernetically enhanced one.

So actually no, they very easily eclipse most Covenant technology in most departments, they intentionally disadvantage themselves by hunting with the least powerful equipment they can with a plasma caster as a back up weapon just in case the hunter's goes south.

In no point in any of the movies do we see them possess any equipment that might outshine the covenant not even a glimpse so how do you know their tech is better? I can except they purposely under prep themselves in the name of the hunt but we're in the movies is that outright shown? Granted I haven't seen them in awhile but a source would be nice

Predator is basically a weaker elite for Chief to take down. If you remember the stealth elites in Halo CE that didn't have energy shields... thats basically Predator to Chief.

An average Brute was able to pin master chief down and nearly choke him to death they can tackle hunters in a full fit of rage. if predators had the strength of Brutes it would have caved Arnold's body in, in that 1v1 fight in 1 hit and let's not even talk about that silly movie Prey with the tribal people and a female who managed to do what she did...movie was so nog believeable. Predators are as strong as Elites at best a bit stronger than them. Which is STILL very strong but Brute strong? F no!

@TheRomanTribune predators very greatly in strength form member to member but also clan to clan but they also juat get stronger, faster, and more durable with age. Youngbloods are normally pretty weak, around the level of elites however some are strong enough to manhandle a 20 ton xenomorph queen and beat ot to death, Dark can effortlessly overpower a predalien who was casually causing earthquakes with its strikes, prince did both of these, and Scarface lifted 1600+ tons and fought off a few hundred super soldiers who are possibly as strong if no strong than chief with just his hands.

The thing about Chief vs a Space Marine is that the only way to justify Chief's luck within the Warhammer universe is that he is directly favored by the Emperor and protected by his will remotely. No Space Marine will ever beat that even if MC is his boxers where he starts in a sleeping bag simply due to Warhammer lore crippling itself. Meanwhile the Marines in the Halo universe would be hacked by Chief's on-board AI remotely and their armor shut down. Also they think faster than normal humans, but not as fast as MC, and definitely don't have equivalent twitch speed/precision movement. If you said "Spartan vs Space Marine" then it would be a much more even match with the Space Marine winning possibly more like 60% of the time. But MC vs a Space Marine? Nah, he's canonically more than just a super soldier. Most of all he is a culmination of the Forerunner Geas which was passed down through Humanity to give birth to perfect heroes at certain times. The lore directly implies that the Geas makes 2 kinds of heroes, Didact copies and Librarian copies. The Geas literally includes an imprint of their souls inside of it. Souls meaning an imprint of their eternal consciousnesses in neural space, the same layer or reality in which the Forerunners built the Domain, a living eternal super computer internet with unlimited date accessible from all their computers across all of space. A soul or spiritual computer system. In other words, in the Halo universe there are entities called the Forerunner and others called the Precursors. The Precursors were akin to the demons of the warp with neural space being the warp. The Forerunners built the Haloes to purge neural space. They Ctrl+alt+deleted the demons of the warp and end-tasked all of them in seconds out of the milky way's area of neural space. They then built the Domain which was like heaven, and shelved the Haloes for thousands of years, so long they forgot about them until the Flood threat returned and they realized they had to purge themselves from Neural space to kill the Flood's food before it fulfilled its ultimate unknown purpose. Those same people had a second plan called the Geas where they made people like MC essentially a divine and prophesied savior of all life in the galaxy. And you put that up against a single space boy. So no MC takes a space Marine every time. Just focus on the average Spartan instead. It's more evenly matched that way.

Mc vs wesker would be a actually good fight. The only stat chief has that isn't arguable is durability. The fight would depend on what weapons chief has. With his best gear he wins easily but if he is just limited to the standard magnum and AR it would be a bit more difficult. Though the magnum would do massive damage because it is a 500s&w Semi explosive and semi armor pen round

Thanks man, much appreciated Chief's scaling depends on what you go with. Here I went with the lore-based multipliers on top off a feat for base John. However in a cutscene during Halo 5, there's a calc that gets the Spartans to building lvl. Then MC can still fight Locke, despite having outdated armor. Then he ofc gets another new suit in Infinite. The bubble shield would tank for sure and I did factor that in during production, however I just left it out as MC has had so much varying equipment over the years. I may do a Chief centered vid at some point but I got a list of ideas atm aha. Possibly in the future, definitelty fun from a thematic standpoint

Predaliens can cause small earthquakes with their strikes, the fact he traded blows with it shows why this is wrong. Also that nuke would destroy the bubble shield

@deadman9335 Oh Hey Bud 👋 Well yes they can do that in the game that needs to be calculated to be meaningful like I can try to ask what it could be but for better results I need the size and volume of the temple even then it was done with multiple strikes so it isn’t so easy to figure out. Also as I said and Chad said there are ways to get MC higher so that doesn’t mean it’s wrong or he loses automatically. No in the lore a Bubble Shield blocked a several megaton nuke which is above the self destruct’s yield.

Yeah if im not wrong the biggest strenght feat is when a Spartan kinda carried a vehicle of little over 120 tons in her back, more than anything thanks to the new armor gen and the experience (Also pointing out she was of average strenght for a Spartan since the variation between Spartans can be massive but by this point the most physically strong Spartans have already died)

I mean there was a predator that proved it was stronger than someone like bane or Deathstroke. In Batman versus predator the see-through slasher was able to be hit by the batmobile and didn't really even care. That predator did not break a single rib, and continue to hunt on bothered. Meanwhile it had beaten Batman to a nearly a pulp crippling him similar to bane. And this was just some run-of-the-mill predator Recently more importantly canonically the predator has ran into and killed Wolverine although his healing factor keeps bringing him back. So buy some strength scaling predator compares to Colossus low end feats. Wolverine is like a 600 lb dude with his skeleton and the predator can still just easily throw him. Predators themselves weigh about that much with their gear and that never stops them from jumping over tall buildings. With strength comparable to a brute chieftain add the jumping power of a jackal... Call the average predator would compare to someone like The arbiter, a highly skilled Elite. But in comparison the damage we see Mr Olympia do with his hands to a predatoris comparable to what Johnson was able to do to The brute chieftain in Halo 3 which was nothing. The same way a brute chieftain brushes Johnson off and throws him into a cell, the jungle Hunter a bare Bones basic predator is able to backhand Dutch after absorbing his punches and not caring. Considering that xenomorphs are also bulletproof that armor is not going to protect from the Spears and wrist blades. And then there's the fact that the plasma caster would be comparable to the sniper rifle. It also has an explosive radius like a grenade launcher. And we know the plasma rifle can penetrate their armor... At range basic equipment to basic equipment the Spartan is less prepared however a Spartan should be capable of crushing the bones of a predator However some predators are over a hundred thousand years old and would predate the firing of the halo rings. Some predators would just have such a bad experience and such power and such deadly weapons that a Spartan wouldn't be able to compare to them. but yes the average predator probably can't compare to Master Chief however other Spartans just random other Spartans could be picked off by groups of predators. Predators are also more technologically advanced to the point where they're able to hack into the shield systems of somewhere like wakanda from Marvel. And remember that they were beating the crap out of Wolverine who fights the Hulk? It really depends on the predator I personally think some of the predators from the games might stand a chance. Personally I think Scarface from the dark blade clan has enough equipment and strategy to be able to take out Master Chief. And whenever Master Chief tried to do anything that predator could just jump out of the way and scale a building to get away from him. Spartan vision is good and they can see cloaked enemies from a distance but what happens when you're more than 100 ft away from someone cloaked? Master Chief in Halo 3 only noticed the arbiter approaching at the beginning when he was within like 15 ft

And I hate to say it but the code of honor that the elites has is nothing like what the predators have. Predators will mercilessly kill Predators will shame their prey. And the elites don't fight against a creature that can rip apart a whole titanium structure like the inside of a ship. Some of the things xenomorphs do to the inside of a ship is comparable to what a hunter is capable of. Buy some typical scales if xenomorph Warriors are capable of doing damage to a sealed titanium door that a hunter would be able to open... Xenomorphs are stronger than brutes, and some predators overpower xenomorphs... Some predators are stronger than any brute...

And then there's the fact that with the different traps and things like that predator has too much equipment that would be able to trap master chief. Any type of netting that would hold an alien down would hold a Spartan down as well, and there's also things like heaters handheld plasma casters. So the predator could just net Master Chief down and shoot him with the plasma caster, and a heater at the same time, breaking his Shields and killing him in one shot.

@TheChadChamp @TheChadChamp I'm not talking about alternate versions necessarily either A xenomorph Warrior is capable of destroying a building, and the plasma Castor is too damaging and versatile a weapon for a Spartan to overcome If the plasma pistol can easily just punch through their armor then the plasma caster would be shredding and rending Spartans even through their Shields. You can ignore things based off of their canonicity all you like, it still doesn't change the fact that plasma can burn through the titanium armor a Spartan wears. What I just said is consistent across both franchises. You need to learn what their weapons can do instead of scaling gameplay Friend. Gameplay isn't canon to halo half the time
