Hi, thank you for your hard work creating great educational videos. I have an amplifier board of a studio monitor that does not produce sound at all. Tested power supply components, they are working fine. Tested most of the components on this board (without desoldering them), and there are no physical damage to any of the components. Also, tested tda7294 (2 on PCB), tested opto isolator, and IC chip as well. Would you recommend any other option(s) to solve the problem. Thanks again, very very much.

Sir , i have a question about the value marked on the top of each coil : for example if we have a marking of 2R0 , this means 2,2 ohms or Henry's ?
@electronicsrepairbasics_erb2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question. The marking '2R0' on a coil typically represents the inductance in ohms, not in henries. Specifically, '2R0' indicates a resistance value of 2.0 ohms, where 'R' stands for the decimal point. However, if you're referring to an inductor and want to know the inductance value, this marking would not directly indicate the inductance in henries. For that, you would need to refer to the datasheet or manufacturer's specifications. I hope this clarifies things

Why there is 19V instead of 1.2 on the othet side of a mosfet and on nearby condensators? And the inductor in the same area has 1.2 V on both sides but after turning on the laptop on the other side of this inductor there are 10 V and it is hot...

Sir please reply to me what to do if 1.2v RAM voltage is missing and V core 1.8v is missing but CPU voltage 1.8 is present
@electronicsrepairbasics_erb2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question. If the 1.2V RAM voltage and Vcore 1.8V are missing while the 1.8V CPU voltage is present, here's what you can check: Check for Short Circuits: Use a multimeter to check for any short circuits on the RAM power rail and Vcore line. A short could prevent the correct voltage from reaching these components. Inspect MOSFETs and Power ICs: Look for any damaged or faulty MOSFETs or power ICs related to the RAM and Vcore power rails. If these components are damaged, they may be failing to supply the necessary voltage. Verify Power Management IC (PMIC): The PMIC controls the power to various components, including RAM and Vcore. If it's malfunctioning, it could be the reason these voltages are missing. You may need to test or replace it. Check Voltage Regulators: Ensure the voltage regulators responsible for generating the 1.2V RAM and 1.8V Vcore are working properly.
