That stroke sound takes long time practice. The right hand fingers needs to get the catch and release coordinates with bow movement in a perfect timing every single time.

He's marvellous. But the Pupil is so terrible, I can't watch it. Terrible "Martilé" and Out of Tune "Scales". Ugh!♦️

Pupil is probably starstruck.With consistent practice with intonation ,timing and articulation in mind,pupil may improve. Like our spelling of certain strokes.
