The best tips coming from Marcel! I would love to see your braking and accelerating meter large like that for a whole video. That may just be me but being a newer wheel user and new to the F1 games then every little detail I can get from the best helps and I've had massive improvements on my whole racing experience just need to turn the racing line off now

Tio for logitech pedal users. Select the clutch pedal for breaking. more range and sensitivity.

Hey marcel, great video absolutely love it, but ive got a question, i use tc off but it feels like im slower than people in the leagues around me because i put throttle down too late but when i try to put it down earlier i always spin or lose the rear. If the throttle isnt the problem then how can they be faster lol
@MarcelKiefer2 жыл бұрын
it's a combination of throttle and wheel inputs while understanding the grip conditions of the track - this will surely help you boss kzbin.info/www/bejne/pobYqZx6Ys6BfMk 🤝

Hello Marcel I’ve been practicing a lot these few days I’ve also notice with my driving I master the braking but when I come out of the corner I think I’m doing something wrong with the acceleration because I understeer wide
@NLR_Knuth2 жыл бұрын
If you drive without TC, most of your rotation will come from your throttle application. Setups are a must have in this game, because the presets are way too stable (so that beginners can use them too without having to worry about advanced setups n stuff). Also, it‘s very important not to overdo it with the steering input. I think Marcel made a video about common mistakes, where he also talks a bit about this issue. Most of the time you don’t wanna turn more than like 100-ish degrees (the exception being hairpins). Other than that, it‘s generally a very understeery game, so getting used to that aspect of the handling model isn’t that easy and requires some practice. And always remember that it’s usually faster to go slow in and fast out. Keeping the minimum speed up like the esportlers do is incredibly difficult, so don’t be afraid to take it a bit more safe on entry to get a better line through the corner, maximising your potential exit speed. I hope I could help!

@@NLR_Knuth I play on controller so I can’t really pick a minimum steering angle
@NLR_Knuth2 жыл бұрын
@@00harry-x1x Yeah, you can leave that part out then. I‘ve switched in 2019 and can’t really drive on pad with the new handling model anymore, but from some teammates I know that this is a general problem, having what feels like endless amounts of understeer. Steering a bit more smoothly (so not steering like you’re on a keyboard) can help a lot from what I’ve heard, although I can’t tell if it’ll help with your specific problem

Thx again marcel, i have been practising for the past 1 hour or more and i have been driving on spain because that is my favorite track, but I'm still struggling the most with the hard breaking zone especially in turn 5 and 10. And also what track is the best for training no ABS.
@chrispowder27132 жыл бұрын
Hardest for me was Brazil to train braking without ABS. I think that Austria could be good to train that (I will try), but there are just a few corners around the track. Silverstone maybe?
