About a month ago, an update was made so that you can choose to listen to your own field's BGM or your opponent's, and by default, it's set to your own. Along with it, they added a lot of unused soundtrack to the fields, so that's why you're listening to it!

It's very fitting that they reused this theme for the Time Travel event. Lord of the Rings was still doing pretty hot back in 2004.

The time travel event was great, wasn’t it? Perhaps your only chance to use cards that are now banned, such as Pot of Greed. And get a taste of the game when it was much simpler. No turns that take forever because of endless streams of link summons, pendulum summons, synchro summons and xyz summons - because there weren’t any of those back then. I hope they do something like it again.
