I was WRONG about claymore, you need to be sitting still for at least 1 second for it to work, I thought you had to actually catch the ball, my apologies.

Slippery Offball is a great badge… it’s just more of a slashing badge than a shooting badge… it’s great for cutting to the basket

Deadeye definitely isn’t a bad shot badge it activates all the time and it way better then blinders cause it actually helps for closeouts

Trippin lol I use deadeye on my 6’9 stretch in REC it saves me from contested shots obviously that are not as open. It’s like a counter to challenger if they got it equipped or if they have a long wingspan. Silver or bronze is good.

I tried it on my 7 foot and it rarely popped up for me, just because you make shots that look contested doesnt mean its activating. It only activates if its a yellow or red contest.

I thought it had been determined that corner specialist gives almost no boost? Even if you are a spot up corner shooter I don't think you should equip it.

You don't understand claymore. The claymore 2 sec counter when you are stopped, even without the ball. So if you are sitting corner for 2 secs before catching the ball, if you shoot right away, it triggers.

I was about to say the same thing, claymore helps green so much more on taller builds with low rated 3 point, 65-75 3pts. Ive tested releasing without claymore on does builds and the shot will just not go in

JFC how are you both wrong? It starts after 1 second of game time (i.e. shot clock) but maxes out after 4 seconds. Beluba pointed this out on his Twitter like 5 F'ing months ago and it's been shared in every CC's vidz since then (except for this dumb@$$, apparently). It's STANDING STILL Dirk It's NOT about holding the ball after a catch and shoot. FFS

When it comes down to it put on shooting badges that works for you... I run volume shooter on gold in park I green more with it on.. now he is right some badges don't work but whatever works for you don't switch it up

Sorry, Dirk, as a spot up shooter claymore is one of the best badges in the game. It's 2 seconds before the catch standing still. The set shooter badge last year was after the catch.

Dead eye doesn't activate for you because your dribble is wild so you'll always have an open shot...i pretty much catch and shoot, so that pops way more than blinders.....all these badges are pretty much depends how you play

Dirk - question for you, what do you use to shoot? The stick or square? And taking dunk meter out of the equation. I have used stick since day 1 but recently tried square and it seems better dunk animations

I was going to take off my catch and shoot badge until I heard him say claymore is bad. I’m a terrible shooter and I shoot great only when I stay still, space the floor and wait for the ball to come to me and when it does claymore gives a huge boost in your early and late window .HOF IT
