Joe is not just a great photographer, he also possesses a wonderful way of putting that across not just in images but in the spoken word. I have watched all I can of him on video and managed to catch him speak at a few events and his passion for nature & making images is second to none I would say. Is he my favourite photographer, without doubt. Thanks Sigma for putting this together.

Absolutely wonderful! Joe's words certainly syncs with my mindset of becoming a landscape photographer in a couple of years. A photographer's role is not just taking great photos it is also to identify the spot which could result in a great image. My dream is also to reach a state were i take 1-2 photos rather than taking 20-30 and narrowing it down to 2-3. Great Content! And the voice of Joe's is subtle reflecting that he loves what he does as he is at peace when talking.

Thank you. Great video. I watch a lot of landscape videos made in England. The country is so beautiful. I enjoy watching the treking in the wood lands. You've no threat of large predators. Bears, wild hogs, rattlesnakes. And where I live, alligators. Latel6 there have incidents of hikers encountering bears on the trails. Usually not agressive, but you cannot take a chance I imagine walking in the woods and no worry of animals. I've watched videos from North Carolina and I kept thinking " bears". One photographer, young lady just going up and on mountain trails and not being watchful.

@@sigmauk Oh HOW I would love that,. But age can cause all kincs of issues. I lived a wild rough young life and now I suffer the abuse. No, to travel where I was born would cause a lot of people to " care". I visited England in 1988 to know my maternal grandfather before it was too late. My mother was born and raised in England, my father was stationed near Thetford, Norfolk. When went to England in " 88" I wanted to see the hospital where I was born. It was torn down decades ago. Thanks for an invite. But I'll keep with the videos and enjoy the beauty. I'm a history person and the history of England, so much of it and how so mhch of it still stands. I stood on the spot where Thomas Beckett was killed. It amazed me to think of the feet that walked over that spot. Another amazing time for me was to drink " bitters", a good name for it in a pub established in 1272. My first thought was " how much beer was poured over the centuries and the number of stsggering down the road.

Excellent content. I was going to ask if yu really find that gearhead essential to landscape photography versus a ballhead until you put the camera well above your eye level. I can see exactly where it would be as would be if making fine tuning adjustments at high up & low to the ground so much easier.
