Hi, thank you. You can take exam in 2025. The CPC exam currently consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in four hours. If there were any upcoming changes to the exam pattern, AAPC would likely announce them in advance.

Syllabus remains unchanged, if the pattern changes, it might include 5-10 fill in blank questions instead of the current 'all MCQ' format.

The cost to reschedule your CPC exam depends on when you make the change and the exam format you've chosen. For live remote proctored exams, there's no fee if you reschedule more than 48 hours before your exam. For testing center exams, there's no fee if you reschedule 15 or more days in advance. However, if you reschedule between 15 days and 48 hours before the exam, a $25 fee applies. Remember, you can't reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of your exam for either format. If you don't show up, you'll forfeit your exam attempt and need to purchase a new voucher.

Mam,if physician do both technical and interpretation and report means append modifier or not

When both the technical component and the professional component (interpretation and report) of a procedure are performed by the same provider, you generally do not need to append a modifier.
