how to grab the outer circle and paste the path at position 1:45
@jasonpbass Жыл бұрын
for your circle/galaxy graphic, save yourself a step by parenting the outer orbs to a null in the center instead of creating paths and copy/pasting and repositioning. for you hexagon target graphic, you can also save time by using the reflect plugin. will also save you from having to eyeball the offsets hoping everything is aligned unless you're building an asymmetrical image.

you're correct. the way he does it in the video is slower and will be more work to make changes

So I am completely green to AE. With this info, could I make a "Power bar" or "balance bar" to put over a video of a friend skating?

Nice! Thanks for helping me increase my creativity! Anyone have a clue how to change the speed of the revolving circles? It would be cool to have one overtaking and passing the other one.
@megamuffin92 Жыл бұрын
@1:53 if you spread those keyframes out it should extend your animation. I haven't done that method before but that should work.
@d_Howard Жыл бұрын
@@megamuffin92 Thanks! I shortened them up on the one without the ring around it, and watched it catch up and pass the other one. Just what I was looking for! Now I'm considering making a full-blown solar system, making it 3D and turning it on edge so I can watch the planets go around and around. Good Stuff!

There is one BIG PROBLEM in all this tutorials channels. They're aimed solely at an audience of kids who make super-cheap, glitchy, Sci-Fy, ultra-colorful videos just for the Internet. It's all bad taste. I work on TV documentaries and platforms (Amazon / Netflix), and it's impossible to find anything effective and sober for archive processing, or animation for photos. 100% of what we find here is 10 times too much ! too cheap ! As they say in the movies, the best is the enemy of the good. But the internet hasn't caught on yet.
