Master of Arts in Cultural Management Programme, CUHK

The MACM programme is the leading postgraduate programme in cultural management in Hong Kong. Through an open, flexible, theoretically grounded curriculum including practical fieldwork experience, students are taught to meet the challenging demands of our ever-changing cultural and creative industries. A core value of the MACM Programme is its recognition of cultural management as more than just technical studies in management. It is an act of cultural mediation that touches on issues such as professional ethics, cultural rights, cultural identity, and the social dynamics within the cultural representation. Students learn to interpret, define, communicate, and advocate for the dignity, values and cultural rights of all members of society.
