I met Skip when he was doing a signing in NY. I waited outside in the rain for an hour or so. When he arrived he didnt go inside right away, he came up and shook all our hands and talked to us even though it was cold and pouring. Cheerful and respectful to everyone. He signed my hand forged samurai sword and even swung it around which I thought was the coolest thing ever. Vicious wielding my katana.. incredible. He asked me if I wanted to take a pic even though they were charging for that kind of stuff, he didnt charge anyone. He said a few quotes as vicious even though they also charged for that he did it for free. Played him in rock paper scissors and he even signed my last funko pop of "ein" even though it wasnt a vicious funko, he did it anyway. One of the best experiences meeting a down to earth dude. Great guy. Didnt have to do anyone any favors and brought the mood up on a gloomy day. One of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I hope to see him at comicon or collectacon in the future. He deserves all the recognition and respect. I hope to be an anime voice actor one day too.
