Master Offline AWS Development: Harness the Power of LocalStack!

Sooo... you have to be on-line to access a centrally managed and owned instance of the Web UI (by localstack), which then interacts with your local instances. That's pay-walling the UI when that could easily be hosted locally on your machine. Not sure I want to create dependencies on a bunch of features that will suddenly become pay-to-play at any time, not to mention privacy concerns around needing centralized on-line accounts with localstack, something intended for offline local development.

I have reached out to localstack to get a response on this. I feel like it is important to find this out!
