I wrote a term paper on Percy "Master P" Miller over 25 years ago. The class was shocked as to why until I shared how P took a $10,000 inheritance from his grandfather, started a record store, began a record label in Richmond, California, and turned it into a $300 million empire operating later out of New Orleans. P went to the University of Houston and later graduated from Merritt College with a Business degree. P changed the music industry.

Glad he changed and I love but be crystal clear, it depends on his audience on the story he tells. He truly started no limit with drug money not an inheritance. He was one of many children and his granddaddy did not live him an inheritance I promise. I followed him since the early 90s. P and Boz were big time dope dealers. P left and hustled in Richmond Cali but Kevin stayed back as part of the Tuesday crew but he got killed. Now he is saying his grandpop left everyone an inheritance lol. P it's all good but no inheritance

Faith without works is dead. That’s my mantra. We can pray all day but if we don’t put in the work it’s pointless. The tools are there and we’ve got to utilize them. Too many folks pray and think stuff is just gonna fall in to their lap. Must do the work.

Hello Gentlemen, I am a 60 year old black female in NC. I’m disabled for seven years but I still have a dream of becoming a great gardener, sale fruits, vegetables and prepared meals. I have always loved those things cooking then later growing it. I’m never giving up on my wish. I lost everything almost my house, health and every dollar. I learned not to dummy down like I did before age fifty ish. Hearing this podcast with you and Master “P” really made my heart beat to a different rhythm . Go Go Go. Thank you. Lanette

One thing that really stood out to me from my business class is the importance of service. I feel like these days, a lot of people could benefit from learning some core values and understanding the impact of good service. Excellent customer service is what keeps people coming back; it makes customers feel valued and cared for. Even if you have a fantastic product or service, it doesn’t always compensate for poor customer interactions. From my perspective as a consumer, I’ve noticed that when some businesses start making money, there’s a shift, and a bit of arrogance creeps in. It’s crucial to stay grounded. Giving back, maybe through volunteer work, can be a great way to stay humble and remember the value of serving others. I really enjoyed this interview!♥️☮️😊✝️🇺🇲💯

In Black culture stop calling everyone Pastor. Master P is where he needs to be. And I celebrate him where he is. He’s bigger than the four walls of the church. He doesn’t need to step into a pulpit to accomplish what God’s called him to do. God knows we don’t need any more churches started. We need more people like Master P to simply give back with their knowledge and wisdom.
