I ALWAYS get so much from your videos Mandy. I LOVE how organized you are and how you explain everything so well. Thank you 😊!

Thank you for this! My greatest challenge is to get faster at the design process. I’m so indecisive while designing, tweaking over and over. Sometimes even after I’ve started creating mock-ups, I’ll go back and change one thing like add a texture! This is very helpful. (My file management is also not great, I have so many revisions of each design. Working almost exclusively on an iPad)

Same here 😵💫! I’m an indecisive designer 🤪! I sometimes have to take a break and walk away to see if I still like/love my design several hours later. 🥴

Another great video, Mandy. Do you have any videos on “knowing your customer”? Another great video. Do you have any videos on how to get better at “knowing your customer”? Thanks!

Hello Mandy… thank you so much for this excellent tutorial saving us so much time.🎉 I was confused about two things during the download process. 1. Your mock-ups were already saved previously with transparency of the colored tees, right? Did you have to do that with the new designs on them again? 2. Also… the size when you were saving read… 2700 x 2025 px so you made it 2200 x 2025 but enlarge to that during the save process? I saw another designer do that but not sure why. Please let us know when you course details will be coming out. Thank you

It's been almost a year now and still under 200 sales. I feel so hopeless and like I spent countless hours researching, designing and creating listings only for them to to fail ultimately. I say fail because if I add all my costs, add spend etc then I am in the hole. I've watched countless POD videos and I still can't made it work. Do you have any advice for me? I'm so close to giving it all up. I'm in Canada btw, not sure if this affects sales to the American market (which makes up 95% of my sales)

How about shifting to your own website? Sellfy ships worldwide

@@jmspegel I'm not sure what shellfy is but having my own website seems like to woukd be much more difficult to get eyes on my products if they barely get views on etsy

Without seeing your shop it’s hard to pinpoint what might be happening, but generally speaking low sales comes from low demand - either in low volume niches or with designs that for one reason or another aren’t creating a connection with who you’re targeting. If a niche or design style isn’t getting you the results you want after a period of time - turn off ads, research a different direction, and pivot. I had to change directions several times in the beginning before I really found directions and designs that started working. In terms of where to focus - 1) Focus on new listings (you get a little boost every time you list) with a priority towards WHO you are designing for and connecting your designs and keywords towards them (think about the design elements that will create a connection and “speak” to them). As well as studying the marketplace so that you understand where there is demand and what is performing well so that you can incorporate additional concepts along the way. 2) Make sure you have your individual listing stats turned on in your main shop manager view. This will give you a better idea of where you have interest on existing listings. If you have a listing getting visits and favorites, that means it’s getting visibility AND interest - make more listings similar to that to try and reach similar traffic. If a listing isn’t working, pivot and try something different from that. 3) Focus on mastering just 1 or 2 product types at most. Get really good at designing, optimizing, and listing them efficiently to the point of getting traction (regular sales). Then scale to additional products as designs actually sell. Success is still definitely possible, it might just require making some adjustments and really taking a good look at your listings to determine the next direction 💜

Thank You, is it possible for you to do a video tutorial on making the file and then doing the video?
@studiomdesignsco7 ай бұрын
Yes! I show it in my time blocking series - there is one specifically for mockup batching and includes the video part. The only thing I do different now is save as JPG instead of PNG (just to save on file space, either are technically fine) kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmHZlXh4rax1ac0

Hi Mandy, you are so organised and efficient! i really want to start doing personalised group listings. How do you ensure the design and size is the same each time. Worried about upsetting customers as tge shirts dont look the same. Thank you for everything!

Thanks so much for this video. You have helped me so much! I'm already a pretty organized person, but I'm also an overthinker. You've helped me reign all of that in. LOL Anyway, just wondering where you would keep your listing description templates. I've been thinking of doing those, but not sure where would be the best place to find them quickly (ex: in one document called "listing descriptions", etc.) Thanks for everything you do for us!! You are much appreciated!

Hi Mandy - this is a little off topic, but how do we set up shipping upgrades for POD. Say a person already purchased and wants to switch to priority - I can change it in printify but how to I charge them for it in Etsy?
@linvidh7 ай бұрын
I haven’t done this myself, but I read that you create a digital listing called “Shipping Upgrade” (which includes the Etsy fees) and send the customer the link. Then, complete it right away with an image or a mockup of the item.
