Some advice id have for wipe day practice is to play the twice weekly wipe servers such as best rust and rustoria. you learn very fast how to set up on full pop under fire

That's a great idea. Should have included something similar in the video. Practice makes perfect and if you can do it more often, you will get much better.

This. I’ve played only 400 hrs but most on these 400 pop 3 day wipe servers. 1st thing I learned is PLACE A BAG. Even if it is somewhere you don’t see yourself setting up a centrally located bag in the first few hrs can be a game changer. I’ve now been through 2 wipes on a monthly official server. If you have a 2x2 with a few shooting angles on a second floor most grubs and griefers will look for easier targets

Use external TC like he said to prevent griefing of your base. Also code lock or key lock your TC to force them to destroy your main TC .

Also separate your loot between bases or rooms to prevent total loss of your loot.

On wipe day instead of instantly dumping scrap in blueprints, you wanna try to find a end of tree item so you can rezearch it without completing the whole tree. I'll usually buy a revvy from a clan using the drones, then researching the bullet and the gun.

If you want to raid more silent when it comes to metal doors, be naked with a repar bench and hidden resorces to repair hammers. Then just hammer in metal doors. Also in early wipe i recomend you look for basses that have mine boxes outside as you can easy get early metal pickaxe and this speeds up base building by realy fast. Oh and free basses dont work. Most people can just use hammer to check stability.

I love spawning in going to fishing village doing the fishing rod quest then fish for scrap and boom you got 300-400 scrap. Then doing the diving quest get a pump and kill makers for farm. Make a tier 2 craft a p2 and counter rig/cargo.

Doing missions early on is definitely underappreciated. You can get some instant tools, scrap, and weapons with little effort.

Good guide but heads up y'all, recycling rope or tarp gives you A TON of cloth. I wouldn't even bother looking for hemp, but if it's right there then I will pick it up of course.

Good strategy. If cloth is a struggle finding tarp and quickly recycling is a good idea. The cloth return is insane.

I was able to run the monument without any radiation protection. The only place I found with radiation is under the parkour tower. You could check out my fastest scrap guide, where I dive deeper and show the route to take with no protection needed.

You don't really need to use it if you're solo. I guess you could use it to try and trick people you're in a group. It was mainly shown in the case you need it for a group or to be able to share the door with neighbours.

Lol yeah I learned the island tip firsthand this wipe. Claimed a huge island on can large,walled off the whole thing. but it kept on getting offlined cause it looked too cool .
