If master-slave is negative edge triggered flip flop, what is the need for this flip flop at all? If I have a negative edge triggered flip flop, the race around condition will never happen anyway.

if clk = 1, master is active and slave is in memory state. if j and k = 1 then mater ff does not goes in race around as feedback goes from slave to master where slave is in memory state which will not change. after that when clock goes 0 then transition from master to slave will happen where master will stay in memory and slave will be active.

Then there is no question of race around condition. Master slave FF is designed to solve race around condition which arise during toggle state in JK FF when J=K=1. Hope its clear.
