Love your channel and your enthusiasm! Do you publish your ratings anywhere? Wine, vintage, brief notes and rating would be awesome! Bonus points for decanting / cellar recommendations 😃 Cheers!

Hi there I do not publish my ratings. Just what you see on my videos. They are taped live, no script. I hope that you continure to enjoy them!

Entertaining videos to watch. Unfortunately, I have never had a bottle of wine that I found enjoyable.

AWESOME! I really appreciate you Kirkland wine reviews. Thank you for another one, please keep it up. I'm now on the lookout for that Chianti. Thanks! Also, you were thinking of Grenadine.

Yes. Grenadine!

Watching your videos really makes me feel happy and reduces my anxiety. I was just at Costco and saw some very interesting wines. There was a Douro red called Vinhas De Xisto at $7.99, a 2016 Rioja Gran Reserva called Finca Los Principes Rioja for $14.95, and an 2021 Crozes-Hermitage called Les Launes from Delas for $19.99. I'd love to see you review those wines if you can find them at Costco.

I'll take a look. But I can tell you that those wines would be quite enjoyable. And thanks for the kind words.

Been to Cafaggio before….great property. Just picked up two of the Gran Selects at Costco the other day. Now you got me excited to drink them!! Paid 19.99 for each just North of Columbus OH while I was passing through town.

good stuff. Be sure to decant an hour before drinking.

Thank you for confirming my tasting of the RRV PN. Bought and had this a few months ago and was hoping it would be good at that price point. But it was really muted after opening and the tannins really overpowered everything else. Guess I’ll keep looking for more affordable PN or have to stick with mid $20 and higher ones. Great video as I’ve had all three and 100 percent agree with your tasting.

Pinot Noir a=is the absulute worst grape to try and make mass production/commercial wines from

Apparently, I’ll stick with my Furthermore, Patz & Hall, Ram’s Gate and Lola.

Sorry to report the Kirkland Signature Barolo you reviewed has been discontinued in the Orlando FL warehouses. Don’t know why. It was spectacular for 19.99.

tasted the 2020 kirkland CCGS, wasn't competitive with rufina, colli senesi or brunelli even for the price. under $20 in tuscany you can get much better vernaccia di san gimignano docg or rosso di montalcino doc, maybe even vino nobile di montepulciano docg if you know where to look.
@MasterSommelierPeterNeptune8 күн бұрын
well, Vernaccia is a white wine. I like it al lot. Yes you can find very good Vino Nobile under $20 - I reviewed one from Costco on another video. I looked extensively and could not find a Rosso di Montalcino under $20. I fould a few in the high 20s.

@@MasterSommelierPeterNeptune perhaps my local enoteca is underpricing tuscan wine! I will definitely check out your review on the vino nobile. your sherry and ribera del deuro videos have been QPR homeruns for me :)

I’ve always wondered if the Kirkland label wines are mass produced by the same people who do Trader Joe’s label wines?
@MasterSommelierPeterNeptune8 күн бұрын
Not sure about the CA stuff. Most of the imnported wines are made and bottles by an entity in that region - for example the Gran Selezione is from Villa Cafaggio, a good quality producer.

Brought back my bottles of RRV PN. They should trial test these wines like the employees of TJ's do. Very disappointed to waste my time on this one. Couldn't drink it. Lots of better wines at half of this price point at TJ's : predictable GSMs like Pontificus and Tenebres. PNs are a crapshoot.

Yes as I said in another comment Pinot Noir is not a good choice of a grape to make mass market wines from.
