I was hunting for this kind of product(12 v trigger power strip) for my home theater once. Glad I found this video, thanks for sharing!!! Just placed the order.

Amazing! I've been using a smart strip, but this is waaaaay better. Thanks for the tip!

Nice video. I wish it had an IR to trigger it to turn on other devices. That will help Trinnov owners that keep the unit running 24/7.

good job finding this power strip. I had planned to get a smart strip but I like this solution much better. Ordered before the video ended.

Another informative video. I have exactly the same situation with two crown subwoofer amps in my home theater. Would be nice if they made a 20amp version of the power bar for high output applications, but the one you linked should suffice. Thanks for detailing the solution to this common problem.

I bought a Furman power conditioner for the triggers. Now when I push the on button everything cranks. Been using triggers for years but this is the most trigger intensive application yet. Even my subs have triggers.

Great video George! Very cool to see a setup similar to what most of us have in our homes. I’m using my trusty harmony hub to control anything with IR and Bluetooth. Amplifiers are on smart plugs but honestly just stay on 95% of the time.

I use a smart plug for my power strip that all my devices are connected to. Everything turns on/off with a push of a button. No 12 v trigger needed.

I have to admit, a 12 volt triggered power strip is pretty cool.

Would this power strip work with SMSL A300?? 🤔🤔🤔

Had an XTZ power amp only with auto on or always on. Auto on was hopless. Watching a movie it took to long before it turned on, and during scenes it turend off (making my klipchs atmos speakers pop). Now i use audilab monoblocks with 12v trigger (and pass through).

Excellent Vid.. But i rather hav my amps turn on in series instead all at once. I don't mind turn ing on my amps one at a time. To me that's jus my joy of hands on my equipment. I may do this trigger one day down the line....

I finally took out my rack out of my main theater room! Now the issues is how do I control my Marantz processor.I can only control my Apple TV cause I left it In my theater room. What device do I need to be able to control my devices from my theater room.

I used the Marantz app on my phone to control my Marantz processor. Give that a try and hopefully it works well.
