Excellent Tutorial, thanks for sharing. Curious to find that for you wrote the fucntion as #"Date.StartOfYear"() .Very interesting it works. In ducmentaiton the syntaxt is Date.StartOfYear(). Is this another format for this function and simialr function? Thanks in advance.

Kebincui, That's a really good observation. I was playing with the code, and, yes, you can also get the same results with an M variable format around a function (#"Step Name"). If we don't want to use that syntax, we can use the standard syntax and get the same results as well. See below: StartDate= Date.StartOfYear(List.Min(financials[Date])) EndDate = Date.EndOfYear(List.Max(financials[Date])) Dates = {Number.From(#"StartDates")..Number.From(#"EndDates")}

@juskonig, Thanks for your feedback. I don't see any. As a matter of fact, I'd use Power Query over DAX to create a calendar table.
