My mother recently passed away and I went to a medium who was wonderful and told me so many things. It was a great comfort to me. What she did and what you do is very important and it really makes a difference to those of us who grieve. The woman also told me I'm a medium and my mother was my gatekeeper. I haven't quite accepted that part yet. :)

Thank you so much for sharing, I am trying to figure out the difference of what you explained here and a medium whom does not have to become aware of their space, and spirits coming to them. When I was little it happened more until my mom noticed and got me on medication to help me sleep because the spirits kept me awake and I was extremely scared and had to sleep with my parents. Now being older and knowing what that was, I still never tell anyone, but a spirit came to me recently after 7 years, and I never knew how to speak to them without being scared like when I was little.

Great information James. I think building the power has to be one of the most important details to focus on for many beginners. Maintaining the power use to be such an issue for me in my early stages and I wish I would have know these processes then. I would do a few Mediumship sessions and felt so drained, I'd binge eat after I was done with my appointments. Now I understand why so many mediums struggle with blood sugar issues. Is it true that when a spirit is merged with you, that not only are they tapping into your thoughts, emotions and body sensations but also that your body begins to increase the amount of nutrients it burns through? Connecting to Spirit is directly tied to your intention. If you come from a loving place, that is the energy you will attract. If you try to connect while being fearful, you can run into difficulties. Like anything it takes practice to do it right. Try saying a prayer beforehand asking only for truthful, loving energy.

Hello sir, I am Sarita from India. I was interested in mediumship, psychic readings, akashik records, pastlife regression and meditation. I had thought to do medition and learn these things. My mother died nearly six months ago. I a devasted, sad, depressed, crying all the time, lying on the bed all the time and have no interest in life, because my my mother did not die a peaceful death and because of my condition i could not give her much happiness. My brother did not do ehat he should have done to her. In this condition it is not possible for me to do meditation and develop these things. I have lost interest in life. Hi James is it ok to have a connection with animals more then humans? I have a connection with family but my dogs that are with me know and in passing I seem to have more of a connection. It seems I know what they are feeling and saying to me. Am I normal?

Tammy, no one is "normal". Everyone is just the way they are supposed to be. Having a stronger connection to animals is you. My husband has a sign in his office that says DOGS WELCOME. PEOPLE TOLERATED.

Ask your local New Age bookstore if they know of a development circle in your area. It's a group of people who meet weekly to assist each other with their intuition skills
