MASTER the Caro-Kann Defense: Fantasy Variation Theory

Today I am going to show you the theory in the Fantasy Variation of the Caro-Kann Defense!
Fantasy Variation is one of the most agressive opening lines against the very solid and stable Caro-Kann. After moves 1. e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.f3! the Fantasy Variation is reached. White is simple training to control as much central space, but he weakens his king's side and there are often some tactics around the opened diagonal!
There are many responses to the Fantasy Variation and black is at least equal, but positions arasing from f3 Caro-Kann are very fun to play so make sure to know the theory in this variation and surprise some of your opponents!

Very good question! As black I suggest you to take the e4 pawn and just follow the main lines. Your positions should be quite nice and easy to play, but you really need to know the theory!
