This video deserves more comments and views, fa real. English is not my first language and I'm taking the challenge of writing English songs, I decided to go to the basics first and that's how I found your video, I really appreciate the fact you're sharing your knowledge to help others.

Because his audio quality is terrible. All I can hear is your walls! However, thank you for the content, but it would be wonderful if you would get a decent microphone and a mic shield. All the best.

This randomly showed up in my recommended even though I've never dabbled in writing anything. Never too late to learn a new skill lol thanks for the advice but most my metaphors make no sense coz i was too focused on using all the words and not on a meaningful sentence. Got nonsense like "Shiny eyes that mutter shameful thoughts. Warm smile that can melt the coldest hearts. We locked eyes on a bustling night. I took a trip and let my heart take flight." lol nonsense.

Thanks for sharing your results! First off, no one ever said your lyrics can't be ridiculous. As The Beatles said, "I am the eggman, they are the eggmen / I am the walrus, goo goo g’ joob goo goo g’ joob". You get it? Nah, me neither. Second, your metaphors make sense! Warm smiles can melt cold hearts! And your "heart take flight" line has some really great double-meaning. The thing is, not every line in a song has to be a metaphor, so this exercise can help you come up with metaphors that you can use for future songs. Save them somewhere you can quickly access them for if you ever get stuck on a lyric. Special callout: "Shiny eyes that mutter shameful thoughts"?? AMAZING! Eyes do communicate, so I hear you describing someone whose shiny eyes (visual description) communicate something unexpected. Keep this up!
