💯 Wrong The only important skill/ability needed for success is an IQ over 120-130 as well as a normal family life, without extreme trauma and or loss That’s it Wealth and success will come simply by being smart and having the social status to go to school, training or internship It’s only simple if your smart enough🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been so afraid of being told no because I’m not good enough or haven’t put the work in. So I work on myself endlessly with the thought in the back of my head that I’m still not good enough, a very stagnant cycle. Thank you for sharing that hearing no is like breaking down muscle to grow it. It is not the end of the world. Man what a revelation.

Why do you even tolerate people in your circle who can't look at you while you have a conversation? I mean, with all due respect, but do these advice actually work for people who have developed themselves the slightest bit?

I've been a social worker for 30 years. I'm always shocked when ppl thank me for taking the time to listen. I realized that ppl aren't good listeners. I think I'm single, in part, bc I get bored hearing men ramble on about themselves and not inquisitive. Women are the same too. I rather have only a couple of friends then lots who talk too much.

I do have at times given a word to people when they struggle finding a word to say. I will have sometimes more focus on what is being said and one of the things ai would cling more then to everything that was said. I like to be able to relate to people more but I get scared in asking questions thinking that the person will get upset with and may think to themselves I'm not understanding what they are saying, and it makes me feel insecure and I may say yes I understand but I may understand differently and not sure how that person is understanding me.
