They’d be very shocked saddened and appalled by most of today’s so called dancing. Pope Pius XII said there was more sin in the world than at the time of Sodom and Gomorrah and that was saying something then. Pope Pius XII was pope from 1939 to 1958. How much worse is it now. I understand that women should never wear shorts or revealing shirts because its immodest. Traditional Catholic friends of mine who are men tell me its not immodest for men to wear shorts, only women. I highly disagree with this as do some of my women Catholic friends. My husband who isn't a Catholic (but I'm praying for his conversation) also agrees that men wearing shorts is immodest. What a blessing to know that St. Padre Pio says the samething.

Listening to this story today gave me chills, regardless if it was in the 19th century or not this young lady broke the rules and tried to lie to Saint Padre Pio😮 about going to church. thats true the devil cant “unsave” us or “snatch us” but we are tempted by the devil and choose to reject God with mortal sin. No one is perfect, all of us can fall from grace any moment. That’s why it’s important to avoid any occasion where you might fall into sin. And we must love one another by helping our brothers and sisters to not fall into it. Telling them “they were never truly saved” after sinning is not merciful or charitable.
