Sir please clear my doubt, but it is physics. sample paper Questions: State the factor on which the resistance of a cylindrical conductor depends. How will resistance of a conductor change if it is stretched so that its length is double?

Simple da length double means resistance also doubles According to R proportional l/A

We know that R=rho l/a. If the wire is stretched then length becomes 2l and area becomes a/2 (since it is stretched). So if you substitute these values in the formula you get R= rho 2l×2/a. resistance becomes 4 times the old resistance if the length is stretched to become double of it. (I HOPE THIS IS THE RIGHT ANSWER. PLEASE CHECK IN GOOGLE)
