Should You Buy Resident Evil Village in 2022? (Review)

Resident Evil Village was the second Resident Evil game I played when I first played it over a year ago and I loved it. I've been wanting to make a full review on Resident Evil Village for quite a while now and the Winters expansion and Shadows of Rose DLC presented the perfect opportunity. If you're interested in checking out Resident Evil Village in 2022, I'll give you my honest thoughts on the game and whether or not I recommend it.

Since you started playing Resident Evil, i suggest you go all the way back to the beginning of the series, with Resident Evil 1 Remake. Amazing remake of a classic that not only started RE as a series, but changed horror games in general. Best soundtrack, amazing setting, and additional features that weren't in the original game. Trust me, you'll have a great time with RE Make

@@masterassassin791 Start with Re 2 remake. Youll be dissapointed with Re 1 remake. Its a glorified jogging simulator.

Eh I tried RE1 and while I like slow puzzle games just fine the utter dogshit controls completey killed any enjoyment I might got from this thing.

@@masterassassin791 A tip for you if you decide to go back and play the original RE games, RE2 and RE3 have a fantastic mod called seamless HD which really breathes life into the games (Dolphin Emulator) Also, make sure to use the dpad as using joystick with the tank controls will likely trigger you. RE1 remake is fantastic also, they really put a lot of care into it.

Great video, that ratatouille edit was amazing, made me giggle. Since you've played third person RE and first person RE I think it would be awesome if you experienced the classic style of RE with the tank controls and camera angles with RE1 remake it think it would give you an interesting perspective on the series.

Since we're not meant to ever see his face (yet, anyway), it's possible that the one that the third-person model does have is merely a placeholder. So, we technically don't know with certainty what Ethan's face looks like. Anyway, good video.

I will say I dont really think the game is scary. The only part that scared me was the doll part of the game. Either way worth it for the story and fun gameplay. Also beautiful graphics.

I think the first half of the game is a lot better then the second I liked the more tense horror situations and puzzles more then the action heavy second half also the bosses suck they're just bullet sponges but visually they look amazing I'd give this an 8.5 still.

Since the big lady isn’t my thing, that isn’t a hook for me, but the settings are fascinatingly grim. But every time I watch a Village playthrough I get disappointed I can’t join forces with one of the baddies. I might just not have the right mindset for this game 😂

#7 is definitely more scary & is my favorite RE game! Village wasn't really scary- except for the large baby. It was more action. But good settings and bosses. It's my 2nd favorite. Don't like the older games much.
