Arkham Origins is one of my favorites. I had such a fond time playing this game. - Entertaining Story - Cool Boss Fights, though, Deathstroke battle is the BEST. - Younger Angrier Batman - Feels same as Arkham City, which isn't much of a bad thing.

Ok I initially skipped Arkham Origins because of the hate it was getting and since it apparently didn't add much from City. However I decided to give it a shot since my copy of city isn't working and hey it's more Arkham. I am so glad I skipped it. It was not worth my time. The Deathstroke Bossfight is just a bunch of QTEs and was so boring.

I remember picking this up on the day it came out for my PS3, one of the best games I had played (I didn't even realize there was hate until I got Arkham Knight for PC and was reading comments). I remember doing every Riddler trophy and getting to defeat him. Tons of fun stuff in this game, the Alice in Wonderland activity was also great. Its one of those games thats fun to look back at but I have no desire to replay until a remaster comes out with new content.

Couldn't agree more, played after long time again. It's still worth it. Winter settings looks amazing in Gotham. Wish they could've taken more time to add bat bike to traverse around Gotham, that would've been amazing

I once beat this game without taking a single hit on hard difficulty, and I have to say that not only did the shock gloves save me many times, but also that some Bosses really change in difficulty. Copperhead went from the easiest boss in the game to the hardest. Still remains to be my favourite arkham game though.

I think this game has the best tone out of all of the games and even though the map isn’t the best the setting at Christmas, access to the batcave, and overall vibe of the game is absolutely incredible. I would love a sequel to this game

got the bundles of arkham games and play it for the first time. just finished origin boy it was a journey witnessing a much younger Batsy and how refreshing seeing his brutality to the enemy

Yes and no. Desthstroke was immense. As was killer croc. However Mr Freeze from AC was one of the best. Scarecrow from AA was a really interesting thing to include. I also loved Red Hood in AK

I've only just played through all four games after sourcing a copy of Origins......it deserves to be played - it may not hit the higher notes found in parts of the other games but it's hard to tell when the whole experience smacks of so much effort. I played it in 2022, suffered no ill effects. Arkham is quadrilicious 👍😎

I honestly think the combat was at its most fun in this game. My biggest problem with it is that the Xbox 360 version is prone to save data becoming corrupt. Last time I played it I finished the game and wanted to do more of the side content because the combat was so fun, but I guess the game bugged out mid-save and when I went back to the main menu, my save was gone.

'Arkham Origins' & 'Arkham Knight' seem more mature than 'Arkham Asylum' and 'Arkham City'. That's just my opinion. 'Arkham City' does have some mature moments, but as a WHOLE...'Arkham Origins' and 'Arkham Knight' are more mature.

This game was so much better than Arkham Knight. No hide and go seek and sneak up on tanks. This had an actual story with actual boss fights. The problem is people keep trying to compare it to Rocksteady. This is a different company that created this. But it was still great

It’s a good game! It’s fun to play around the holidays. I remember when it first came out, I was uncertain to get it, but I’m glad I did. It’s fun. Origins has some of the best of the best bosses in the series, Roger and Troy's performances of Batman and Joker are some absolutely phenomenal and the story has some really cool plot points. I played the shit outta Origins on my WiiU and recently purchased a copy for my xbox and cant wait for it to arrive so I can re-experience one of my all time fav games.

I have a very vivid memory of playing this game when it came out at a family friend's house during a vacation. I got sick so bad that I couldn’t really go out, so I spent the weekend alone with this game, as my friends and brother would occasionally go in the room to check on me. I was definitely happy, especially as a Bane fan.

In my opinion, Yes since this is my fav. Arkham game with City being second. The story is amazing, The gameplay is good but a little buggy which is fine, The bosses are the best in the series besides Mr. Freeze in City (Electrocutioner is the best one), The detective sections make you FEEL like Batman, and you can mark the datapacks from Enigma's most wanted page. This is impressive considering they only had around 16 months to make this game.

Playing it for the first time, definitely my favorite story so far. Loving the angrier Batman. Gameplay wise, I think it's the worse for sure. Lot of clunkiness that leads to me losing combos. Can get extremely frustrating.

I love Arkham Origins. That wasn't my first game in the series, but I still love it even more than Arkham City. Maybe because of more realistic art design, because I loved Nolan trilogy, maybe because of Gotham City... I loved batsuit, resembling Nolanverse, investigation mechanic (still love), combat system, gadget design and side quests (not all, but Mad Hatter's one is still in my heart). Deathstroke fight made fan of Slade Wilson. This game brought me more impressions, than Arkham Asylum and City (okay, now I prefer more comicbook approach of Arkham City, but that's another story).

I think Asylum is the worst Arkham game but we look back at it through rose tented glasses. I personally love origins. I think all the Arkham games are fantastic games but I think rightfully so the first game is the worse bc they usually build of them and make them better especially if it’s a good studio

A remake of asylum, city and origins and a remaster of Knight with bugfixes, revamped facial animations and improved lightning would be greatly appreciated. I'd also wish for the controls and GUI to be streamlined across the games (especially in regard to selecting gadgets in Knight when you're used to any other game, or vice versa) and of course, all DLC should be included, just like the "game of the year"-editions

It's not the worst game in the series at all. For me it's 2nd behind city out of all 4 games. As for RGS and TB voicing batman and Joker its a prequel profile both sound exactly like the younger version of Hamill and Conroy. Arkham Asylum is set 10 years after origins in the timeline. Not to mention this is the only game with the Batcave, best boss fights in Arkham history, fully explorable Wayne Manor in the DLC for the only time in the series and many more.

The frame rate really was bad on 360 when it came out and it crashed on me four times while playing it back then. That in combination with everything in this game being done better in City really left a sour taste in my mouth with this game. It was very apparent the people that made asylum and city did not work on this game.

Man, I don't know about the others but for me this is the best Batman game so far. I played the first two from the Arkham series and this is the only one that give me the natural feeling of being Batman. The story, the atmoshpere and the bosses are really cool, can't really see why people complains about it. I know it's subjective but people have to appreciate everything by its own. So now, after I heard that the same company of this game made also Gotham Knights, I'm more than sure that that one is going to be a good game too.

The single only reason origins lost points for me was the joker twist. I didn’t mind his inclusion but making him the main villain again just got me annoyed. I really wanted to fight against black mask and the other mafia bosses and have joker make an appearance instead of spoilers being the main villain impersonating black mask.

Only thing I did not like about this game was the level up process and the way you had to perform exact challenges to upgrade skills and gear. Otherwise a great Batman game with perfect story writing.
