I love how Wotfi 2024 is the first Wotfi where the villain/antagonist is in control of 90% of the song instead of the usual 30% - 40% that most villains/antagonists have had in Wotfi 2018 - 2023. He's also the first villain that didn't desperately try to fight off the smg4 crew for most of the song as well.

i suspect a major part of that was the fan reception of the first storyline and song with mr puzzles, so they went all out with him for this wotfi. i dont blame them though, mr puzzles is awesome, and his vocal performance definitely backs up his lead in the song, especially the final line, its incredible.

The best WORF has to be 2021, unforgettable, the lore, the follow up , the story of SMG0 and the final battle were all PERFECT, but also, man, 2024 was INTENCE, the philosofy and character devolpment of Mr Puzzles places just below axol. Honorable mention is to 2020, this was legendary, and actual war against fat italians, and it was the first time we saw something like this, and it eventually gave us all the rest.

Wotfi 2015: mario actually was pretty good, his rhymes flow well and he stays on beat. Unfortunatly smg just could not keep on time or tune with the song to save his ass. His parts just make the song a slog to get through. Not the best first outing. Mario wins Wotfi 2016: mario once again doesnt do half bad. Of course this era of smg4 songs is much lower quality to the recent ones, but not bad for beginners. The backing track is a bit repetitive, and could use a bit more varity. Smg4 has improved a lot, actually matching the beat. Bowsers part isnt anything all that special, and oh god the mic quality. It definitly shows its age. It also just goes on for way too long. Smg4 wins this one Wotfi 2017: already a massive jump in quality from the last rap. Although they still cant afford better mics. The backing track is a cat jam for sure, although smg4 once again struggles to keep on time. Mario spitting bars however. Luigi fucking SLAYS. Although his mic quality just randomly drops during the bleach line. Boopkins voice just never really did it for me, and my dude cant rap to save his life. E-gad also slays. Sadly meggy doesnt save mario here since she is still a squid. Her voice filter just kinda shreds my ears. Bobs part is actually really funny ngl. Team smg4 won this round (with luigi amd e-gad) Wotfi 2018: oh boy, the first arc wotfi. Ngl still hold up really strong, with the song being really memorable. The audio mixing is a bit weak, and it gets a bit repetitive, but still shows lots of improvement. This is also where we stop really determining a winner between mario and smg4 as thats no longer the point of wotfi. Meggy im sorry your squid voice just does not do it for me. Its a good stepping stone for the future Wotfi 2019: ok ngl i forgot that they went back to standard wotfi in 2019. Ngl i always forget this rap even exists. Its not bad, its just really forgetable. Also uh x or whatever his name was. Cyan marios mic quality had not got the memmo, and is stuck in 2015. Wotfi 2020: BACK TO THE ARC SONGS. The animation has really improved, although sadly that does not play into the score. Ngl, its still the same quality as 2018 though. Although, meggy finally gets her human voice and is no longer an assult to the ears. The instramental solo slays. Wotfi 2021: do i need to say anything? Masterpiece. Iconic and amazing. THREE TWO ONE ZEROOOO. All the choras parts give me chills Ngl, i could not care less about smg2 or smg1. Also can we all agree super meme gaurdian is stupid. I mean In wotfi i think 2015 Mario says "you bring shame to the word glitch" That diss has been entirely retconned But none of that is the songs fault, and overall, while yes a contriversial wotfi, it has a BANGER song. Wotfi 2022: another banger. Meggy slays. They went all out with the intramental here. Also luigi finally gets a half decent mic. I havent mentioned it the past few songs, but luigis mic has stayed consitantly low quality. Anyways solid song. Wotfi 2023: banger. Just a solid banger overall. And i just have to aplaud the animation. Overall just really solid, story wise, and just overall song wise. I can listen to this all day 2024: WHY DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A BILLY BUST UP SONG. Its a banger, but there are a lot of parts that just feel too much like "ok here is what we are doing on screen" with not real catchy singing to justify it. Jello slays as puzzles though and all of his parts are bangers.

1. 2018: I am not changing my mind anytime soon. 2. 2023: I really enjoy the intensity of the song. 3. 2021: I have really grown to love this song.(I still think it is slightly overrated though). 4. 2020: Love the progression and introduction of Lizzie Freemen's Meggy. 5. 2022: Lawyer Kong's A.I voice is surprisingly good and, as both this and latter songs will show, Elise Lovelock has an amazing singing voice. 2015: Pretty basic: 5/10 2016: A slight imrovement, though Bowser made it a bit more interesting 5/10 2017: This is when we first see other participants, including Meggy's debut as a singer. 6/10 2018: The highlight of the "Waluigi for Smash" memes. It's also when singing began to play a larger part, no less tanks to Meggy. 8/10 2019: A brief return to the basics. While the rapping is good, it feels underwhealming, compared to what we've seen before. 6/10 2020: This is when the Rap Battle truly became the part of the contest. It's also when Meggy got her English voice. 10/10 2021: The MAGNUM UPUS of WOTFI Rap Battles, and my personal favorite. Everyone did this one so well, especially the female singers. 11/10 2022: An epic courtroom tiral was made for an epic Rap Battle. This is where Elsie Lovelock shone as Meggy's new coice actress. 10/10 2023: We have Elsie as the unnamed singer, singing a rather epic tune. We also get a new antagonistic side to Mario, though he's easily beatem. 9/10 2024: Mr Puzzles made this WOTFI work, as I knew he would. I also like Meggy trying to reach his damaged inner child, which she did succeed in, using her Leggy form, 10/10

My rankings (just my opinions) . 1. WOTFI 2021: 10/10. It feels like a true final battle, and you know this is amazing when EVERYONE is singing a verse. The japanese part is also amazing. This is definitely my favourite WOTFI rap. 2. WOTFI 2022: 9/10. The vibe of the song is great, and raises tension at some parts. 3. WOTFI 2018: 8/10. Old? Yes. Iconic? Yes. Banger? Yes. 4. WOTFI 2024: 8/10. Another great rap, but not the best one there is. 5. WOTFI 2020: 8/10. This one is great, nothing less or more. It also introduced Meggy's voice. 6 WOTFI 2019: 7/10. This is a great rap battle between Mario and SMG4, but still quite inferior. 7. WOTFI 2023: 7/10. It's good, but I'm just not a fan of the song's vibe. 8. WOTFI 2017: 5/10. I liked this a lot back then, but now it's quite inferior. 9. WOTFI 2015: 3/10. It's not that good, but I liked when SMG4 said "go home and hump some teletubbies" 10. WOTFI 2016: 2/10. I don't like it that much.

wotfi 2024 wasn't the best, but it flowed well. I'll say that much. At least no matter the quality of the main videos they make great WOTFI raps and animations. That's enough for me to stay subscribed to them even if I come back once a year.

I want honest opinions y'all, what are your thoughts on WOTFI 2021, 2022 and 2023. I wasnt much of a fan of 2023, but now its one of my fav. 2021 and 2022 are equal Edit: WOTFI 2024 is incredible too. It has got to be the second most emotional WOTFI right next to 2021. But in general, Mr. Puzzles' backstory is actually emotional itself, which is why he is my favourite one, second being Axol. Rip A ol though, i cried when Melony had to kill him and put Axol out of his misery. So, RIP Axol :)
