Thank you very much for this video. It was very clear and easy to follow for building a basic sim for our UMC1000. Thanks again!

Thank you for this! Now I've just got to go measure my machine, make the geometry, and put it all together...

Nice video BUT... At 17:45 the video jumps over the part where you add and define the tool holder. Later on around 28:05 you mention this was done BUT it is not actually shown anytime in the video. Can you add this important step?

Yeah for real, nice little shady jump there. I am guessing it is similar to the step where you add the dynamic workpiece since there is another selection for tool. I am working on the rest of the machine so when I get to that part of the sim I think its just a matter of adjust the location of the holder where it should sit in the taper of the spindle.

That's a nice intro to Mastercam and sim. One question, are those sim machines real NC based/driven or just video game-like sim?? I've been trying to find out as I plan on doshing quite a bit in CAM and looking for a real NC sim package rather than the fake kit most sells. Thanks

Thank you for this video. I started building a horizontal milling machine and having some problems with setting up the machine within wcs. Any suggestions?
