Mastercams Lathe Stock Recognition Setting to Save Your Tools

My rough bore operation won’t let me choose to use remaining stock. Stock recognition section is greyed out. Stock is defined properly and for the correct spindle. The tool is also defined perfectly.

Check your axis combination for the op. Greyed out stock settings means the op is not seeing any stock to interact with. eg you have stock defined in the left turret but the op is looking at the right.

Hi Sir! I have a alarm on mastercam lathe after I programed dynamic roughing on Lathe it was " No area of remaining stock found " although I already created stock and Chuck?? Could you help me this. Thank you Sir

It looks like these......after creating stock it show hidden line of stock around the cylinder part, Chuck shown at the end of the part, I used margin check box too, using left chuck, about toolpath I click on undercut diameter will be machined highlighted and dynamic roughing parameters I used.062 step over, 50% of cutter, zigzag method, ect....defaults. But couldn't not backplot because of this " No area of remaining stock found " thank you Sir!
