For anyone bringing up Foodfight, please consider that Starkist Tuna, Vlasic Pickles, Chef Boyardee and Mr. Clean (brands that ended up appearing in that movie) were used in this commercial while FF, following Larry Kasanoff's idea to switch the animation to motion capture, was being redone for an apparent release on 2005, same year as the ad. In other words, those brands had to give away the rights to their mascots for two crossovers at the same time, but one of them ended up being delayed yet again.

@@bradyanderson6311 I know. It's pretty much a publicity stunt. Pretty much trying to "rebooted" the character or something likes that. Earlier this year, Hormel Foods bought Planters from Kraft Heniz. Planters is now a Hormel Foods brand.

They do that a lot with comic book characters like Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jason Todd (the second Robin and now Red Hood), Captain America, The Human Torch, Flash Thompson (aka Agent Anti-Venom), Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Ben Reilly (aka Scarlet Spider) and Kane. I found out that they going have Spider-Man (Peter Parker, the real and original) "killed" off and have his clone, the newly resurrected Ben Reilly as his successor, but Peter Parker, the real and original Spider-Man will eventually comes back very soon, especially he's one of Marvel's most iconic and popular characters, also one of Marvel's flag characters as well.
