Why is it that many top players tend to skip picking up a significant amount of shards? I've noticed it quite a bit now and I don't understand it

The only good reason to skip it, is if there is a super quick play that needs to be made and you dont have time to pickup. The rest is just lazyness xD most of this pub games are just stomps on our side. So we just walk around and have fun and try to make clips🫡
