Eric like he said wants to be his own man. Not be controlled by his father decisions on his career. Cooking is what he loves. His grandpa is the reason why he loves cooking since he used to own a dim sum restaurant. Alvin use to be engineer like him. So he understands him. Obviously he sees him like a son in a way so that’s why he decided to partner with him.
