Masterclass | Blackmagic Davinci Resolve in a Disney+ feature film w/ Daria Fissoun

Σε αυτό το #SAEonline Masterclass, υποδεχόμαστε την Daria Fissoun. Colourist, compositor και post tech engineer για το DaVinci Resolve software της Blackmagic Design (BMD) με 10ετή εμπειρία διδασκαλίας σε media institutes στο Λονδίνο, συγγραφέας και συν-συγγραφέας διαφόρων εγχειριδίων BMD και του επίσημου προγράμματος σπουδών BMD.
Η Daria έχει εργαστεί σε ταινίες μεγάλου μήκους, ντοκιμαντέρ, τρέιλερ και διαφημιστικά βίντεο. Μερικές από τις πιο πρόσφατες δουλειές της περιλαμβάνουν την ταινία μεγάλου μήκους "Safety" του Disney+ και την ταινία μεγάλου μήκους "Greek Freak" ως post tech engineer.
Το Masterclass πραγματοποιήθηκε αρχικά, στο πλαίσιο των Indusrty Weeks που πραγματοποιούνται για τους SAE σπουδαστές και αποφοίτους της Ευρώπης. Η Daria Fissoun μας μίλησε για τη χρήση του DaVinci Resolve’s Collaborative Mode στο project της με την Disney+, για την εργασία και τους ρόλους πάνω στο production και post production, για τα χαρακτηριστικά ενός επιτυχημένου επαγγελματία στον τομέα και πολλά άλλα.

A friend's daughter was home to Canada visiting them for the holidays and I hadn't seen her since she was a little kid. Now she was a department head at Electronic Arts in California who had worked her way up for ages. I didn't ask her one question about her work because I knew if I started, I wouldn't stop talking and I'd interrupt the family gathering at dinner. Besides, her world would be on a whole different level from anything I would understand. Daria is great here at keeping her answers down to something an interested novice could follow.

I bought Resolve because of Daria and the software is very powerful; do note that you need powerful hardware to run the software. The only gap between me and Resolve is the skill. With time and training, hopefully, will close that gap.

This is great! Thanks Daria. The clarity of the explanation is amazing. I recently edited a Hindi(Bollywood) feature film Gumraah on Resolve which was eventually graded and delivered by the DI studio on resolve too. The software has great ease of use!

We have a production/post house here in Cincinnati and I’ve been using Resolve to edit since 2014, so I convinced this new post house to switch from Premiere to Resolve. Just last week, I installed Resolve Project Server on a headless Mac and we are now working collaboratively and it is going great! Our 2 edit assists and the 5.1 suite have access to the same projects.
