She was a excellent and very intelligent singer and a loverly and extraordinary teacher. And can still sing with a very youthful voice at her age in 1995. BRAVA!!!

i was thinking the same thing. i listened to some of her recordings and she low-key sounds a bit similar in some aspects. not all the time, but there are some similarities. i think it's because she listens to Deutekom so she picked up on some of her mannerism, phrasing, etc...

The soprano has a nice quality to her voice, but there are pitch or intonation problems 🤔. Her trill as also sloppy

It has to be a pupil of her,what a problem for todaysingers if they will not understand that it is simpel if you know how and she knew!!!!!It is not posible to learn musicalety what Deutekom had and this girl needs to look in herself if she can make the lirics work because that's missing!

She had a wonderful technique. I am so happy I learned it from her and had my international carreer because of that and that I can now give/teach it in the Netherlands.

Yes, certainly! After conservatory she was the first who taught me in clear language how the system works and what muscles are involved. Musicallity is a gift, one has to have it. If a student has musicality, the teacher can help to enfold and encourage it and challenge it...if not, not..
