Yesbank 5 rupees I am not buying and buying at 11.50 and sold at 15.10....same Tata chemical brought at 280 and sold at 315, now Rs 512, Grasmi buying at 610 and sola 700 know 900, so many companies happen, i don't have the patience to hold..even Asian paint also

Can’t be timing the market is a general mantra of all money mangers while they all time the market for their own portfolio. It is imperative to time the markets for the retail investors/traders especially for the sell side because retail investors will get obliterated by institutional investors when they pull out their funds. So all the gains that retail investors may accumulated within so many years will dwindle within few months of a bear market. So do not listen to such fund managers if you are a retail investor. The whole buy and hold strategy without timing the market is dead. Most of these successful “investors” have made their fortune also through short term trading, (not necessarily day trading) and then parked their funds in buy and hold in growth stocks but always timed the market to enter the position.

Abhijeet , u should undersyand that fund manager call can go wrong also. A mutual fund buys 2 percent in a fund. That way fund saves on volatility.
