I would really love to know is this dethrones the Arete as your daily driver. It seems you enjoy the sound a lot.
@FreshReviewsYT3 ай бұрын
@@jesh879 so I switch between the two. The Arete has a clean analytical sound the remains fun with a punch to the bass that doesn’t make it sound sterile. The tea pro comes off warmer with a different sounding environment in general in game. They are two IEMs that are different enough that they can compliment each other for different listening experiences. Both are at a great level for gaming though, it should boil down to your tuning preferences.

I have your Arete collab set; they sound clean and crisp, with great low end, and I definitely enjoy using them for my non-competitive gaming because they still work very well to help me hear PvE enemies around me in detail. Giving me more spacial awareness. I've ordered the Xenns Tea Pro, but they haven't arrived yet. I'm curious if you have any input on how the Tea Pros would perform when plugged into an Xbox controller. I'd like to use them as an alternative to the Arete for gaming, but I'm concerned about their impedance and resistance values. Do you think the Xbox controller would be able to power them sufficiently, or would I be sacrificing too much performance and should just stick to the Arete? Thanks for your awesome videos, and I'm looking forward to what else you have in store!

I disagree, although I feel the engine is good and the sound is great, it is an open world atmospheric game and although I feel it is an enjoyable experience in terms of sound, it doesn't need the level of separation or layering or depth that other games with potentially worse sound design need in order to be able to pin point enemies around the map.

sound is ass in the new update tho... the audio verticality has never been great but it's extra bad now and enemy footsteps so much harder to hear in the distance. people constantly sounding closer than they are compared to pre-update. might have to do with all the vertical terrain and so much more object clutter occluding sounds, not sure, but not a fan of the audio tweaks so far.

I just got mine, and honestly, I feel pretty underwhelmed. I'm currently using a "gaming headset," and when it comes to music, I did notice a bit more clarity, separation, and directionality with these IEMs, but the difference wasn’t mind-blowing-it was more of a subtle improvement. I thought, “That’s neat,” rather than being wowed. For gaming, they provided a lot of detail, but it almost felt like too much at times. My own gunfire often overpowered other sounds in the environment, and I can’t confidently say these were better than my gaming headset overall. It’s disappointing because I’ve heard so much hype about IEMs, watched tons of videos, and was really hoping these would be a big step up-especially since I’ve been wanting to move on from this gaming headset after learning about better audio gear for both music and gaming. Unfortunately, these didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I’ll probably return them tomorrow. If you can, please let me know how they compare to the DT 990 Pro.

Yes, the number of drivers will never be the tell sign of whether something is good or bad or the same. Number of drivers doesn’t mean much of anything really. It’s really just the performance of the drivers and tuning.

Hmm and another dilemma 😅 Will repeat my self, im running Splendor 2 and Arete as you know for warzone, but i would like add some more flavours to my gaming. Wich IEM will get closest possible to those two above but not a bassy tuning. Wich one you would recommend for warzone ( something for no bass head)😊

@FreshReviewsYT3 ай бұрын
Good question. I would not personally. I do hear the rogue stuff is a bit better than the goxlr. The problem with a mixer is it just isn't designed solely as an Amp Dac, the internals of most things are just better, even like the topping DX3 Pro+

@@FreshReviewsYT ah ok. Coz some people have been telling me to get a goxlr coz I have a dual pc. and I feel like it won’t give me the best sound. I’ll have to check rogue out. I went from a GoXLR Mini to a Gen 4 Scarlett 2i2 and it made a pretty big noticeable difference in bass emphasis and there is zero background hiss which I personally had with the GoXLR. There’s other solid interfaces to like the SSL2 if you need the XLR input but that topping is a great DAC.
