Oh man, these stages lol. The reason Mephiles' story and stages ended up being cut in the end was simply just because it was too troublesome to try and create really unique levels for him. I certainly had my hands full touching up everyone else's stages, and Mephiles fell to the backburner, and then was almost completely cut until I added him into two of Silver's stages. Plus having just two versions of Shadow is just kinda ehhh in the end content wise, so he never had a full story made, and all of his stage IDs were moved to Amy, essentially (who originally only had two, then four stages).

No way! Is this a mod? I've never seen someone play as Mephiles before. Mephiles is one of the best Sonic Villians! The only villian who was actually able to kill Sonic. (As of writing this.) Some people may be saying "ehh" or something because he looks exactly like Shadow and they were lazy with villian design, but Mephiles introduction to the game and why he looks like Shadow is pretty good imo. With P-06, (Project 06) I have no doubt that the full release will show thw TRUE potential of Sonic 06 with all of its bugs and glitches fixed.

If Iblis is the body of Solaris, Mephiles is the mind of Solaris, and Mephiles is a malevolent entity, does that make Solaris a malevolent entity? I guess the people of Soleana worship an evil god. I appreciate seeing Mephiles' section.
