What if your DSLR has wifi and remote view, is it okay to walk in aisle in front of everyone and then use an ipad or a 12 inch tablet as a viewfinder for the DSLR? Sometimes it can be frustrating looking at the tiny screen so it is cool to hold both the tablet and the camera to your face while taking the picture. Furthermore, unlike your camera, with tablets, you can also enable notifications for tweets and other social networking messages. I was also wondering, on most DSLR's the built in speaker is really low powered, but since they are not concerned with the audio quality of the speaker, they often use low end/ generic amplifiers. Since their datasheets are readily available, what are your thoughts on replacing those amplifiers with beefier 2-3 watt amplifiers, and then also upgrading the speaker? A friend invited me to a wedding and before I go, I want to make sure my camera is ready, so I want to have the focus beep on, and also upgrade the amplifier to a 3 watt one, and then use the compact horn speakers found in many fire carbon monoxide alarms. Those speakers can often do around 400-7,000 Hz frequency response, and push 90dB+ while being small. I feel this will play a large part in making sure my camera is ready for the wedding. Another issue that I have noticed is that the area where the bride and groom stand are often too far from the seats, and thus the focus assist light does not often reach very well. Do you feel it will be okay if I replaced the focus assist light on my camera, with a 500 lumen cree LED. I really want there to be enough light for the camera to focus properly. I also would like to know your thoughts on the performance of the device controlling the LED. Some micro controllers will have a delay of a many microseconds. To avoid those delays, will it be okay if I override that controller and have the focus assist light remain on at all times. (I can account for the light by using a much higher shutter speed and more powerful external flash with a high refresh rate that will be able to keep up when I motor drive through out the ceremony.

I love this. It is so true - people are oblivious and actually do some of this stuff.
