Great video, Rob. I've been saying the same thing about the martini glass for years haha. The Nick and Nora has taken my new favorite style, especially The Educated Barfly brand. We appreciate you, brother!

Nick & Nora is definitely my favorite for drinks served up! I was stoked to find the acrylic ones from cocktailkingdom! Now I enjoy by the pool!

Thanks Steve! With the new basement bar, I finally have room for all of them! My wife was getting annoyed with my glassware taking over the kitchen 😂

Great collection of glasses. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I am prohibited from visiting drift stores. 😅 Cheers Rob!

I was cut off before the move but now I have plenty of bar cabinet space 😜

Favourite glass is one that is full!!! Low balls with thick base is a goto.

Yes heavy base glasses are nice!

Great video!! Although I disagree with the Martini Glass not being essential. I use them frosted all the time, especially when it is a low APV cocktail. Nice because you're not making a cocktail every 20 minutes.

Thanks! Good point about the martini, I guess it has its place.. just not for a classic martini 😜 cheers! 🍸

My personal favorite type of glass is the colossal stein. Also, are tumblers just another name for lowball/rocks glasses? Cause that's always how I've heard them called.
@RobsHomeBar10 ай бұрын
I’m not sure… the word tumbler seems to refer to various styles including both lowball and highball glasses 🤷♂️

The mule myth strikes again! 😂 Metal cups conduct heat better, warming the liquid! They will melt faster than something more insulated, like glass. But, they FEEL colder on your lips because the metal is so cold (but to get cold, the latent heat in the metal quickly travels into the cold drink.)

I am so offended by your public service announcement to stop buying shot glasses in every store you see... Ha, that's my whole thing,... I almost never use them for drinking though... Enjoyed this! I want a pearl diver glass and a hot toddy mug... Probably next on my list... We found some odd thrift shops on vacation and bought some great handpainted highball-like glasses...

Haha.. I used to have a shot glass collection but it just collected dust.. lol.. kept a few and chucked the rest! 😜
