To be honest, your voice is hard to listen, so perhaps it might be challenging to me and some people but that’s quite fine cause we need to be challenged by immersing in a lot of accents and kinds of voice includes elder people whose voice is hard to understand so that our english listening skill might be better, in the initial stage when i encounter you video and listen to it i felt kind of hard to do but after a couple of times trying to listen and get familiar, it does work eventually, thank you for telling us a story, i might watch it twice to enhance understanding it much better

I am glad that you liked it. This episode is different. I made it to show off a lot of good expressions and phrasal verbs. If you find it a little difficult, repeating it several times will solve that and allow you to learn these great expression. Thank you for your support.

@@xuansangen1322 Super. I find that repetition is super helpful. I often space out the listening to get the spacing effect benefit. It makes the learning even more effective. Thank you for writing back

Hi teacher!! Thanks so much for your videos and stories. I particularly enjoyed and learned from this one. It had a lot of new ezpressions. I noticed that the sand clock on the mantel started again, is it connected tonthe start of a new year?

I am glad that you liked it. The hour glass being started actually just means that I remembered to flip it over at the start of the video. This video is different. It was made to showcase these expressions and the phrasal verbs in particular, so people will want to repeat this one, perhaps more than other videos. Ideally, space the repetition a week or so from the previous. Some people will make lists of the expressions, but I would not. For this densely packed episode, repetition is our friend.

@comprehendeng I have already listened to it twice. I will certainly repeat it in a few days. Thanks 😀

Teacher, I would like to inform you that Mr. Tomas Hardy has successfully passed my literature selection process and has been accepted into my literary canon. And good advice deserves a reward, so I decided to grant you a small dose of humor. Reagan tells Soviet jokes kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3-Wq2abiLt6baMsi=xdQ9afAjXlSDsuii

Sergiusz, thank you. I watched the video. Reagan was quite a character, from a bygone era. I hope that you enjoy Hardy. He is one of my favorites. From a language learning point of view, he is quite a resource. The vocabulary of all of his books repeats a lot of words so one gets a lot of lower frequency words by reading more than one of his fine works. Binge reading a single author is a strategy for these lower frequency words. Plus, of course, his work is a great pleasure.

@@comprehendeng I found his novella Jude the Obscure on the Guttenberg Project website for free. I read the first sentence and am in seventh heaven.
