The thing about the Cresent Blade is you have to use light and heavy attack combos on enemies till you see your weapon glowing green. Soon as it's glowing green, you hold down the heavy attack button for a sec and it does a high damage attack.

just got to the start of chapter 3 and i'm loving the gauntlets and i think they are really underrated most of the time a dodge heavy light light heavy light heavy light will melt officers and happens fast enough to fit between most officers' attacks the weapon has a lot higher entry barrier to function properly than all other weapons available to me so far but once people figure out that swapping stances after another stance swap makes it a lot faster it just becomes so much fun although complex

it's fun after u get rage mode and given the body slam by HUANG GAI 1 dodge attack body slam then assault officer wake up to true musou attack;helped a lot to the thunder red glow enemy.

I think ppl misunderstood the gauntlets. if you notice it has alot of detail to the stance mechanic. when you use stance in a combo you get a symbol on you back that allows you next stance to do more break damage and get into stance almost instant. ppl are over looking this

Always prioritize fps in fast pace high action game. And since you are playing on PS5 and not PC you can easily decide for yourself by playing some battles

When u see the prompt to spam Y press 1 time and end the combo for the final hit you will glow blue, dont press immediately wait like 1-2sec.

spear is good on duels;1 parry 3 attack then use the launcher battle art u can land a full air combo plus charged strong attack slam.Unless enemy is in rage mode they lose to 1 parry in duel.
