I am once again sitting at my console realizing that as long as you keep producing content, I will always be inspired to improve, evolve and reinvest.

That sound good 😊 I just hope someone will get inspiration for something they might not have known - and giving people a reason to dig a little deeper 👍 and so cool to have someone like yourself to give me a boost with nice comments like this one 😊

As the others mentioned before me: Great videos, keep them going! I love the quality, the new ideas, the nice and userfriendly way of explaining things and since this episode I love your sense of humor! 😁😁 *crab dances for the win*

Haha - yes crap dance is a great video if you need something that never stops 🤣 You have turn turn down the music though, otherwise you will be insane 😀 But thank you for your support, it means a lot 🙏🙏

I'm using this feature for a year now, and what happens is that MA3 crashes after a while when you use more that one layoutview with NDI at a time. I didn't try this with 1.9.7.0 so far, but maybe someone else will try that too? But again: This is a wonderful video! You know a lot AND you explain this in a very very good way to us! Thanks a lot!!!

Hi Rainer thank for the nice words 😀 I think that could speak into the bandwidth I was talking about - if you run, say 4 active inputs at the same time, the console has to process maybe 500 mBits of traffic. I think I would make 1 feed with a composition of 4 videos in 1 NDI feed to keep the traffic lower. You could still see each input separately if you wanted, but then the console didn’t have to process all the information. 😀 That said, you have to make sure your switch is correctly configured as well - that will also give you problems if it’s not 😀

@@Event-Lighting Yes, but I have only two Streams running and it's a "Stream" from my MA3 PC which is working together with Resolume giving two Outputs at the same time. Yes, and all on the same PC (I like doing risky things... ;-) ). And when I control the 2nd Video via the NDI Studio Monitor on the same PC as well, everything works fine. I'm interested if anybody will see similar behaviour...

One day maybe we can use it as source for RGB fixtures to do some easy pixel mapping...!
@Event-Lighting11 ай бұрын
That would be nice - and a natural way to go I think. Imagine you selection grid on top of the NDI feed 😀

@@Event-Lighting I‘m in contact with MA about this topic. They started developing the PixelMapping engine - it will take some time. In v2.0 it won’t be implemented for sure they sold me… Perhaps a small feature but not a real PixelMapping

Okay - we will see what happens in the future 👍

Used the feature for the work with Cameras. It works really well. It is a awesome gadget but yeah take’s you longer to setup then just a screen with hdmi that comes from your videomixer that is usually 5-10meters away….🙃

Well I think that this is only the beginning 😀 How hard would it be to use NDI to map your fixtures to the signal, and run video in your rig? 😀
