For my ps4 I just used an aqara contact sensor, would that not have been easier?

It all depends on the available space that you have to mount the sensor. On my case, I would have had to print a little adapter to get the contact sensor to align properly on the stand, and since I already had the vibration sensor available, using the information from the gyroscope was easier. But a side from that, it was a good oportunity to show a different use case for a vibration sensor, hopefully someone whatching migh find it usefull for a totally different use 🤞🙌

Hi, no, they work out of the box with the steam client
