@@mypersiancorneralso I have 2 questions lotfan: 1- with دم دست we use داشتن يا بودن. ? گوشیم دم دست است. و. دستمال دم دست داری؟. 2 - آخر جمله : … كه برم با رءيسم صحبت كنم. (برم). Why we have said برم It is grammatically linked to صحبت کردن or just for the meaning of the sentence ? ❤❤❤❤❤
@mypersiancorner6 күн бұрын
@ 1) both are possible: "to be handy" or "to have [sth] handy" 2) برم is because of که. When we give the purpose of an action, we use که and then the subjunctive. Hope that helps 😊

@ true, but it's just practice. I know you can do it 💪

5:50. .تو الیمپیک مدال طلا رو به دست آورد Is there a rule in colloquial Farsi on when تو or توی is used? Is it just what kind of "flows" better? And would the use of the verb گرفتن serve the same purpose (I know this lesson is specifically for usages of دست)? Thank you as always for the lessons, Pontia. They have been indispensable for me.😊

Thank you:)))

Thank you so much! I'm so glad they've been helpful.😊 I would say توی in particular is often تو in colloquial Persian. We just can't be bothered by that final ی In terms of گرفتن you could easily use that in place of this expression. It's a matter of a simple verb vs a more idiomatic expression like: help vs. give a hand, or call vs give a ring.

I have a question. What is the convention for the use of subject personal pronouns in sentences considered? Example: man nameh- ro ferestam.
@mypersiancorner7 күн бұрын
It’s usually omitted and just used for emphasis or when turning a question around to ask someone else. I’ll make a short video to explain it better with examples 😉
