This was instructive, and entertaining too. I followed along in Planit Pro, even managed with some searching to find the camera location on Granite Peak Road. I shot a time-lapse of Neowise passing over Mt Adams. That would be a coincidence if on the same date. All of this in my backyard. I live in Wasco County. I once joined a tour of old schoolhouses in the county sponsored by the Wasco County Historical Society. Many of those on the tour grew up on farms in the county and attended one or another of the schools we visited. Friend School was one of the stops. A member of the group that maintains the school as a historical site gave a talk on the history of the community and the school. I’m inspired to make better use of Planit Pro, after seeing its potential demonstrated.

Wow that is such a relief to hear, Mike! With an episode where I wasn't around for it, it's great to hear that it worked well! Thanks so much for letting me know you still enjoyed it this much! :D That is really neat that you have ACTUALLY been to that Friend School! I suppose it is more well known than I realize. It was cool to see how Steve and Kirk planned their shot by creating the 3D shapes to match the dimensions of the school and perfect their timing. Went really perfectly minus the cloudy morning! :D Thanks for watching, Mike! -Aaron
