You can view "filing history" for a company listed at Companies House. This in real terms means you should be able to see who transferred a share and when this took place. You can locate company information including the "filing history" here; find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/search?q=

Once you have created the new shares you would be required to file the CS01 (confirmation statement) to inform Companies House of the new information such as Shareholders name.
